Taking pictures of random signs you see in the world
•••
This sign has been outside of an old and otherwise unremarkable car repair shop in my neighborhood for decades. Every time I drive by I can't help but wonder the story behind it. Anytime I see something like this I try to grab a photo (even if like this one, they're next to impossible to get and have to be taken from the passenger seat of a moving vehicle) Some of my other favorites: "Mama said there'd be days like this" on a cardboard box propped in the window of a tattoo parlor "Area of Rescue Assistance" in an old boarding house hallway "Knock like you mean it" in the unmistakable, shaky block letters of an elderly neighbor tacked to his front door "Please stay on main trail, many unmarked graves" on a walking path in Maui

•••
Lovely original cut paper pieces if you’ve got the budget but his prints are gorgeous and affordable too.
