Owners of a 70+ father rise UP…looking for birthday gift recs for my dad who “doesn’t want anything and doesn’t need anything” (🤪). Like a classic dad, he loves world history, loves a comfortable chair, LL BEAN, slippers, birding, and fixing things. He lives in Maine and loves type 2 fun, but not THAT much because he’s (his words) “getting old”. He’s about to go on a road trip out west in US with brother…any ideas for a nice birthday gift or road trip gift? 🤟

I love gifting food (via goldbelly or directly from a fave location) when people truly don't want more "stuff." One other idea that my SIL just got for my husband that might be applicable given your dad's roadtrip is the National Parks toilet paper from Who Gives A Crap. It's funny, pretty, and guaranteed to be used.

What are your recs and tips and musts for when you’re truly burnt out / wiped / beyond depleted and just need to revive yourself and feel like “you” even just for a few minutes?
