my sacred space. two warehouses (and then some) of vendors. everything is beautiful when you're at the DTLA flower market. the entire process is serene and meditative: waking up early (i recommend 6-10am), driving through a sleeping DTLA, walking in endless isles with every kind of flower you could dream of, carrying your selection home, arranging bouquets in your kitchen. buy roses for yourself, buy orchids for your partner, buy tulips for your parents, buy lilies for your next event. bring cash and a portable cart, if you have one. if you go often enough, it's a worthwhile investment. you'll never need to buy grocery store flowers again.
