Precious Things by Tori Amos: “With their nine inch nails and little fascist panties tucked inside the heart of every nice girl” — I mean…I discovered that song at 11 and found my incipient sense of rage reflected back in most ethereal yet still seething way. I’m 40 now and I still feel this one in the bones.
