Romance
magnolia parks
•••
This is one of my favourite romance series. It starts off in somewhat ~light~ territory, and you think you’re just reading about over privileged rich kids. However, as the series builds, so do the characters and their storylines. Nothing feels forced or out of place, especially as you re-read the series (which I have done many times). This is one of my comfort series, it reminds me of how we can be resilient, breakable, selfish and selfless all at the same time. There are parts of this book that to this day bring my to tears, make me laugh uncontrollably and annoy me no end.

A really well done hockey romance show. It does deviate from the books but in the best way possible. I wish they did ten episodes but each episode was filled with a good storyline and thoughtful writing. 10/10

mellow bar

I’ve gone to Mellow Bar on and off since February for my nails and every time I go, I am reminded why I make the trek from the UES down to SoHo because it’s just. That. Good. I usually get an almond shape and they are shaped to perfection, even when they are on the shorter side. I alternate between the Japanese gel and the dazzle dry but it really doesn’t matter which type of polish I get because it’s always the best application. highly recommend this nail place if you’re in nyc or visiting and need your nails done.
