Vocab in Notes App While Reading
•••
I often come across words I don’t quite know the meaning of while I read. In the past, I’ve either used context clues and read past them, or maybe quickly looked up their definition - and swiftly moved on. Recently, I’ve started copying and pasting the definition into a Notes app file titled “VOCAB,” making it much easier to both remember that word + meaning, and refer to it in the future! I can feel my vocabulary genuinely improving, and this very straightforward practice makes reading that much more rewarding to me. Xx L

Watching this performance of Lost Boys (Phoebe Bridgers) on Jimmy Fallon
•••
As a former diehard Phoebe Bridgers girl, who has been starved of her music for the last six years.. and ALSO as a former kid who would play guitar on the street for money - this is the greatest thing I’ve ever seen in my life. I’ve rewatched about a million times since it was released yesterday, and I am fully in tears every. single. time. The unadulterated joy on all the cute faces, the talent, the HOPE!!!! Do yourself a favor and watch this as soon as possible.
