Very nostalgic upper west side tale of a year in a boys life - navigating prep school, being a child actor, and growing up alongside nefarious adults - with beautiful prose. A favorite of this year for me so far.

“This new novel that takes place in New York in the 1980s. A teenage boy comes of age on the Upper West Side. Funny, dark and brilliantly told.”
