I love these, too. Also, I love when the wax paper gets crinkled, personally. It’s akin to the patina on well-loved leather for me. Are you a fountain pen user? I also really love Tomoe River paper. I have some travelers notebooks in Tomoe River that I use for everyday note taking (and some custom loose leaf memo-sized pages I’ve printed my letterhead on that I keep for passing notes to people because I’m extra) and then use my Midori MD (dot grid) for sketches for client projects.

“i swear to sweet baby jesus i have never in my life journalled as much as i have since acquiring this one. a rec from a thoughtful friend who is as equally neurodivergent as me & just GETS IT. something about the tiny grids and the pages divided into four sections makes this spicy brain very joyful. BIG FAN. HUGE.”

“Our absolute favorite 'normal' notebook. Amazing paper quality that feels great wth any writing utensil and won't bleed even with fountain pens. They're great on their own but we're using them most often in a refillable journal. We also are more often than not using Midori's paper for our spiral & binder notebook refills.”
