Storytelling Studio: Rec

When I work with clients in a 1:1 capacity who are working on a book, I often suggest they go find ‘comps’ which is what my first editor tasked me with. In narrative storytelling work the focus is really on voice, rather than a final book. This especially helpful when a person is moving genres. I’m taking my own advice. I’ll be picking up new books and re-reading okd favorites throughout the next few months. Many of which have really supported me when I was writing my own books/ I know will.
