rush hour / traffic jam game
•••
i played this game when i was in elementary school, maybe 5-6th grade and it is a very fun brain teaser. i bought it as an adult with no-kids a few years ago because i remembered it being surprisingly challenging (it still is!). great to put on a coffee table (like those peg jumping games) and really fun setting up the traffic jams and moving the cars around. love that is screen free and the tactility of it is really satisfying even though it is plastic.

vitsoe 606 modular shelving
•••
work with a real human rep to measure and plan your shelves! they are delivered with custom levels that make spacing the shelving tracks and installation a breeze. you have a map of where each shelf goes! the system can expand as your life or shelving needs change. splurge price point, but quality and experience of ordering was top notch.
