A lighter weight 100% wool (or close) camel colored/ tan coat that can fit chunky sweaters underneath. Not so structured, good drape, and under $500 🙏

Uniqlo Relaxed Long Coat: Wool-ish and a teeny, tiny plaid that looks like a neutral. For the price, a great overcoat to layer underneath in the shoulder seasons. I bought one size up for slouchiness and room for to layer a blazer.

Quince 100% Mongolian Cashmere Double-Faced Wrap Coat: Rec'ing this coat specifically in response to a req for a lightweight wool coat under $500 in tan or camel. I actually have the double-breasted version of this coat in grey that they now only make in black.

I learned about the glory of double-faced coats from Amy Smilovic and I may never buy anything else. This coat took me from Fall through Spring (including a very snowy winter) with strategic layering and works excellently as a blanket on an airplane.
