I stan the Kings, the tv husband/wife duo behind The Good Wife, The Good Fight, Elsbeth, Brain Dead, The Bite, but Evil trumps them all. A true comfort tv for me, a little bit scary, funny and so damn fun. I am definitely looking forward to watching their new show Cupertino!

This is true comfort tv. The low stakes (for me) drama, mingled with the delicious foods and interesting personalities helps to make this top tier. Also, love Kristen as the host (she cries when she loves or feels for the contestants!). Perfection.

In Montreal and eating warm bagels fresh from Fairmount, turning on CBC at midnight and watching Nirvanna The Band The Show for the first time. Hilarious! Fast forward 8 years or so and the movie is brilliant. Nostalgic, quirky and totally endearing. Love that energy, boys!

A lovely Saturday morning: Pancakes, coffee & Taskmaster

We started the tradition of watching one episode of Taskmaster every Saturday morning with a stack of pancakes, raspberries (or whatever fruit is in season), and maple syrup during the pandemic. Drink coffee, eat breakfast and laugh. The combo really does make for a lovely Saturday morning. Free to watch on youtube.

Guy Montgomery's Guy Mont Spelling Bee

A retro panel show about spelling? It's hilarious, charming and made me realize that I'm a really bad speller (but I'm okay with that). There's a NZ version and an Australian version. This show introduced me to the joy of comedian Aaron Chan, who is simply adorable. Free on youtube to watch.
