This is a Gardening Show

Public television vibes, meant in the sincerest and best way possible. Loved how he talks to the children he interviews (like people!) and loved that I actually took a bit of new knowledge away from each episode. You’ll laugh, but not enough to pop a stitch.

If you are familiar with the ancient texts, you know Katie Dippold can do horror AND comedy. What a gift that we get her mind applied to this premise and an Apple TV budget.

Rivals is sexy, soapy and surprising enough to power you through an overnight cluster feeding session. And if teaching your newborn about the ins and outs of British television franchising isn’t enough incentive, may I also offer Aidan Turner’s mustache for consideration? The only downside is that we waited two years for a six episode season. The people (and babies) demand more! *Also, not to be confused with Heated Rivalry (when I first turned it on, my husband asked where the hockey players were).
