Annika

Came for Nicola Walker, stayed for the offbeat and heartwarming characters, the Norse mythology, and the mother/daughter subplot. The whole cast is superb and Walker’s Annika is so delightful and awkward and smart and quirky. Really fun & compassionate detective procedural. Devastatingly, it’s only 2 seasons long.
