I have been a little emotionally tumultuous in my soul and this book was such a salve the whole time I was reading it. Perfectly slow. Finally a book slow enough and rich enough that its (real, Norwegian!, natural) world has just stuck with me in my soul, providing me a place to come back to again and again, still.
