The two requests we get the most: a better way to organize your saves, and a way to DM people. We rolled the two requests into one glorious feature... meet Rooms!
Rooms are private spaces where you can save and organize recommendations you find across Rec League, invite collaborators, and chat with your friends.
Make a Room for recipes you want to try. Make a Room for books you want to read this summer. Now when you save something (a single rec, a request, or an entire collection), you can create a ~Room~ for it. Use the paper airplane to send anything to a room.
Rooms can be collaborative too. Planning a trip to Greece? Make a “Greece Trip” Room and invite your s/o. Now you can both drop recs you find across Rec League in here, links from around the web, and chat back and forth.
Other thrilling features we’ve released recently:
- Linkless recs! You no longer need to link to Wikipedia when you’re recommending “a morning swim.”
- At-mentions in comments. Enough said.
- A better text editor in app. Go nuts with your in-line text editing. The commentary on Rec League is too good to not have all the text formatting options at your disposal.
Rooms are now available in the app and on the web. Look for the door.
