Touching trees on walks

I live in Northern California, so no one has real grass in their yards to touch when they need to be grounded… But man, we have trees. So, when I’m feeling unsettled or upset, I like to feel tree leaves/branches/trunks on my strolls. Am I getting something from nature? Yes. Is nature getting something for me? I certainly hope so.

Moon Calendar (Goop)

My relationship with goop products is as complicated as my understanding of time passing… but I love both things when they coexist in this daily calendar. I appreciate the thoughtful daily passages, which always tell you what stage the moon is in, but adds on some bit of knowledge or asks for a reflection which really meet the moment. The monthly pages are my favorite, though — often shows the flower of the month next to important dates to remember. I like tearing them out and hanging them where I can see them. I would happily receive it again, which means I might give it as a gift to others 🤫

This spot in Noe Valley is a dreamscape — beautiful store, tranquil spa. All of their products are packaged beautifully and smell sooo good. I can’t wait to get a facial here. Until then, the Rose Cleansing Oil is a nice, daily treat.

So glad to have found the Ouai Fine Hair Shampoo & Conditioner! Your hair is supposed to change nine times in your lifetime, and after some extended periods of stress, it has taken a minute to make my hair feel thicker… while also shiny and soft. But Ouai gets the job done for me!

ThirdLove is based in the Bay Area, so we’re blessed with a brick and mortar retail experience. And I have to tell you, I was so sick of my boobs before I walked in there, and walked out feeling like a new human! They have so many options to choose from, but I chose underwire with thick bands to hold/smooth all of my bits and bobs (: They also have a minimizer that is stylish for keeping the ladies down for buttoned shirts and dresses.
