Autumn and M.Ward are an ideal pairing. I like all of Matt's music - his own releases and numerous side projects - but I always come back to this first album, which has a certain shaggy lo-fi charm. There's a couple of rollicking songs but mostly these are gentle folk tunes to get deeply melancholic with in the late afternoon autumnal sunshine. I adore Song from Debby's Stairs.
