Duet For Guitars #2 - M.Ward: 1999 (Co-Dependent)
Autumn and M.Ward are an ideal pairing. I like all of Matt's music - his own releases and numerous side projects - but I always come back to this first album, which has a certain shaggy lo-fi charm. There's a couple of rollicking songs but mostly these are gentle folk tunes to get deeply melancholic with in the late afternoon autumnal sunshine. I adore Song from Debby's Stairs.

Quiet Signs by Jessica Pratt: A few years ago, I worked remote and drove to the office (2ish hours away) once a month. I would listen to this album during my dark, early morning drive on the empty roads in winter. Still evokes that soft, contemplative winter feeling to me.
