We saved the pyramids for the very end of our Egypt adventure, and it was one of the best decisions we made. After spending time at the incredible Grand Egyptian Museum, ending our trip at the Pyramids of Giza felt like the perfect grand finale.
Standing before the pyramids was one of those rare travel moments that leaves your whole family in awe. Photos simply don’t prepare you for their scale, history, and presence. We all felt deeply impressed and genuinely delighted to be there together, taking in one of the world’s greatest wonders.
Visiting the Grand Egyptian Museum first gave us a much richer appreciation for what we were seeing. After learning about the artifacts, pharaohs, and ancient Egyptian civilization, walking among the pyramids brought everything to life in a way that was both meaningful and unforgettable.
For families visiting Egypt, I couldn’t recommend this sequence more highly: begin with the Grand Egyptian Museum, then end your journey at the pyramids. It was the perfect ending to an extraordinary trip and a memory our family will cherish forever.
