I’m an artist and art historian. Much of the media I consume and many of my projects are guided by my interdisciplinary interests in art, identity, portraiture, language, graphic design, comedy, and the natural world.

I’m interested in how aesthetics inform identity. How the visual and verbal co-construct one another. How to form visual languages to convey impactful ideas. How humor acts as a mediator and a bridge, reframing reality through the absurd. And how we might relate differently to the world around us by reconfiguring our relationships to plants and other life.
