Garden bouquet for a friend

My best friend recently had a baby and I was going to stop at the Flower Market to pick up an arrangement and then I thought wait a second I should check my own backyard first. Here’s what I came up with!

This bouquet features my own garden’s mint, basil, pansies, and marigolds. Plus some fireweed and whatever those purple tall flowers are that grow in my backyard. Special shout out to the one and only peony that sprouted from my friend’s garden and the lovely columbines I found on the side of the road by her house.

This exercise made me feel like a true forager and it was fun to see how such a unique bouquet could be created without spending a dime!
