This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me
I just finished this book and let me tell you I was seated. Couldn’t put it down. Read this and did nothing else for an entire five hour flight. It was that gripping!
This is a portal fantasy book that doesn’t fall into the usual plot traps that portal books commonly get into. I already cannot wait for the next book in the series.

Downloading this now in the boarding line for a similarly long flight. Thank you!
Reporting back! This was amazing, and in a different echelon from their other books (which were already good). I got halfway and then reread to better savor certain plot developments... A fantastic read all around.

“An unexpected gem of a high fantasy book, that has everything you need: found family, strong independent protagonist, political intrigue, and a love interest with shadow powers 👀”

“One of the best books of the year”
