my dream date in seattle is going to le pichet, getting a carafe of wine, steak frites, charcuterie, a salad, and french onion soup. the closest thing you can get to france in seattle, chalkboard signs, tables too-close-for-comfort, and all!

out of all the italian gems (san fermo, pink door, spinasse, etc.) in the city, this one takes the cake for me. maybe i'm a sucker for the 90's aesthetic: a checkered floor and neon signs. but the food also rocks. and did i mention half slices of lasagna?

korean food that makes you feel good afterward and like you finally ate enough vegetables in a sitting. going out to eat can be nourishing!!!

definitely a crowd pleaser! reliable focaccia sandwiches with exciting seasonal options always being added to the menu. the chicken milanese is a staple. also, don't be scared to get the soup (even if it's a cream of spinach), it's just as special!

our go-to takeout and "I don't know what to eat spot", the kind of place with a line at 8:30 PM on a tuesday. don't just order your normal thai faves - you have to get the combo khao man gai!
