TEST PLOTS
•••
Test plots are experimental native plant gardens in degraded urban parks around California. I found out about them after recently moving close to the Rainbow Canyon Test Plot (which also sounds like an unpublished Don DeLillo novel) and spotting it on Google Maps. Website and brand design is also 10/10. The zines!

Lewis McAdams Riverfront Park in Frogtown
•••
This park has everything! Lawns, paths, bioswales, picnic tables, play areas, restrooms, a gorgeous pavilion, bike path access, parking with EV charging and it's all kind of tucked away in charming fashion.
