Vivaldi: I use Vivaldi for my browser to avoid the AI push. It’s an independent European company who wanted to create an alternative to big tech. It took some time getting used to, but honestly I love it now. The search results feel much more authentic.

iPod for listening: I switched to using an iPod (innioasis Y1 since it was cheap, modern, and my nano no longer worked) and it has drastically improved my listening experience. You only listen to what you want, no algorithms, so everything moment and song feels intentional!

Using -ai after your Google search: Boolean search terms are still the way the Internet is run and I have never been more thankful for my computer science classes than I am in this day and age! Adding "-ai" to the end of any search term completely erases that dumb AF AI summary that now populates every Google search. I've also switched to duckduckgo. Good luck! This is a fight worth fighting and we're in it together.

Duck Duck go browser: I switched my main browser from Google to Duck Duck go and turned off the AI feature since it lets you.

“- ai”: I always type “-ai” when I google, which stops it from listing ai results. It’s super automatic now. But idk if that really works; for all I know it’s still generating them and not showing them to me? I would love a different search engine.
