Not a very original rec, but my husband just switched from Chacos to these this summer and he loves them. Walks for miles in them and while they may wear out after a season or two, they look a bit nicer, too, than his chacos did. My PT says a back strap is essential.

I love my Chacos! I got mine for the same reasons. Most of their color options are not great IMO, but they have a few fun monochrome options. I personally went for black 😎

In response to slide request! My sisters make so much fun of me for wearing these orthopedic Finnish slides but jokes on them because you can walk for miles in these things. They are supportive, comfortable 9pm dog walking shoes but you can also wear them for a full day on set or with a shapeless sack and look cool and avant- garde.
