“Any simple syrup is equal parts sugar and water dissolved together in a pot on the stove, medium low heat. try with brown sugar, or steep white sugar with literally anything you want to make new flavors. best flavors: lemongrass (pictured), strawberry, rose, chai spices.”

“It’s so easy and far less expensive. It’s a 1:1 ratio by weight of sugar and water. If you want flavors just add them in as you see fit. Place in a bottle or jar and refrigerate up to a couple months.”
