My book club wants to know: what is the Virgin Suicides of today? We want a book with the same vibes.

I listened to the audiobook of this and really enjoyed it! It's similar in atmosphere and theme to The Virgin Suicides, as well as in the fact that the story revolves around a community's fixation on a group of siblings whose perspectives we never see directly.

Picnic at Hanging Rock also has a similar vibe to The Virgin Suicides, but it came out in the 60's, so doesn't meet the "today" part of the brief
