“Claire Lombardo’s stunner of a book is a beautiful character study of a woman named Julia and her relationships with her husband, mother, children, and a friend who becomes a mother-figure and a reminder of when Julia almost lost everything. Much appreciation for all the (correct!) details about Chicago. Absolutely adored this one.”

Clare

“I missed these characters so much when I finished it.”

Katy Skelton

“I liked this even more than her first book, which I enjoyed but this one was more propulsive.”
