Neglect, let them know who’s boss. (This is mainly a tip to err on the side of underwatering) Second to neglect, these are my top recommendation to have at the ready when inevitably you find yourself with a fungus gnat infestation. Bringing a new plant in is a gamble. New potting soil is a gamble. Suddenly your apartment is filled with hundreds if not thousands of those suckers. This stuff works real quick, you just soak a few tablespoons in a gallon of water for like 30 mins, skim off the floaters and then water your plants as normal. It may take a couple to see a decrease and allegedly it can take a couple of waterings, but I’ve taken care of mine with just so… Don’t forget to mist the babes. Most of our houses are drier than we think and they tend to be way less dramatic if they get their spa treatment a couple times a week.
