Requests from Sarah Cooney

Where is somewhere I can get some costume/demi-fine jewelry appraised and sold? Either DC or NYC. I inherited a bunch from my grandmother and would love to pass these pieces along to someone who could give them a better life than sitting in my dresser!

Best back-to-school recipes? Specifically breakfasts and dinners I can make ahead or quickly; slow cooker recipes + tips; thank goodness I don't need to make lunches!

Favorite spots in DC? It's been a while since I lived here and now I'm back with my family! Please drop favorite restaurants/museums/places/kid things--please and thanks!

Where do you buy a replacement record player stylus??

Best medium-softness pillow for side sleeper??

Favorite NEW MCM sofa? Trying to keep the price <$2,500 (preferably less). I know Marketplace is great but I have a phobia of pre-owned soft furniture. Thanks! :)

Best inspiration sources for mid-century modern design? Goes without saying that AI need not apply... but I'm getting inundated with it.

Trying to make more iced coffee/cold brew at home--what are your top recs to make this a really elevated, ritual-like part of my day? (Both the production and consumption)

Things you wished you knew/did/had when moving?
