I was raised on handwritten thank you notes for nearly every gift or kindness thrown my way. Whenever I get an unexpected snail mail for any reason, there’s such a jolt of excitement over the tangible effort someone took to express that they’re thinking of me. It’s obviously way easier to email or text but doesn’t hit the same. Analog all the way. So I’ll be here keeping the Etsy sellers in business (best place for stationery)

partial to the Trader Joe’s quick steel cut oats! while cooking I add cinnamon, vanilla extract, pinch of salt, maple syrup, milk. top it with drizzle of almond butter, purely Elizabeth granola, and frozen raspberries. new hyperfixation meal unlocked

having a go-to kale salad recipe

a friend told me recently that she loves my “signature salad” and I’m not sure any other compliment could have made me feel like a savvy female lead in a romcom as much as this one did. I like a mix of roasted and raw veggies, always a nut and a cheese and some herbs and a homemade dressing over kale. most ingredients irrelevant, just a nice fallback meal that brings me comfort!
