“I’ve never cared more about the feelings of a spider in my whole life… and I already love bugs/spiders. Seriously though this books does a great job making you feel emotionally connected to the characters and deserves a read if you’re into sci-fi”

“I think about the ending to this book at least once a week. I read it five years ago. All of Adrian Tchaikovsky’s books are mind-bending in a way that somehow makes me a better human. You spend so long inside a completely nonhuman way of seeing the world that you come out a little less convinced ours is the only one that makes sense.”
