“There are good deserts and bad deserts. Arches National Park = good desert; Utah’s bagel scene pre-Cheryl’s = environmental crisis. Thank god for this woman and her kettle-boiled, burlap-baked, authentic, delicious bagels. Cheryl moved to Bountiful, UT from NJ in 2020 and knew she had to save us from ourselves. There have been other attempts since, but in my view, this remains the only authentic East Coast style bagel in the state — and it is a fucking banger. Great bagels aren’t the only authentic Jersey import here (and yes, you can get genuine pork roll on your breakfast sandwich). Don’t be fooled by her cuteness; ask her to toast your freshly-made bagel and Cheryl will publicly drag you. ‘Preciatetcha, Cheryl — more than you know.”
