    “Paso has the widest day-to-night swing in American wine and it isn't close — the sub-districts crowd the top of my list. Geneseo leads the ones with enough sites to trust. Mourvèdre ripens later than almost anything else planted there, so it leans on that long swinging finish more than most things do. Cass grow this on their own estate inside the district. Their note: "black cherries, plums, mint chocolate, and fresh earth… pomegranate, white pepper, boysenberries, a velvety tannin structure."”
