“The Last Museum is the largest search engine for museum art. Most of it in the public domaine. It uses semantic search, allowing you to search for artworks by theme, style, subject, vibes, or any description you can imagine. I have been throwing random search criteria that come to my mind “blue”, Zaha Hadid, period blood, sunshine, sleeping and many more and just delighting at what it’s spitting back at me. I also love the timeline bar at the top, it makes me think about how long humans have been making art (!!!) statue from 3000 bc!? you know, spec of dust floating sentiment. Discovered it from Block Shop’s Friday roundup. Those girls always always get me right.”
