I’ve been to the owners’ idyllic and beautiful family farm where they both live and source most of the meat & vegetables they serve at the restaurant. The farm is in the rolling Loess Hills of western Iowa. They have alpacas and furry little pigs and I met my first turkey— a living, bred half-turkey/half-chicken.”
