“Rode the B line to Sunset/Vermont then rode the LADOT shuttle bus to Los Feliz/Vermont. Used the maps app to navigate a walking route to the Ennis house which took me through the Loz Feliz Heights Steps. Very pretty. Probably gets super lush with Bougainvilleas during the spring/summer. There was the cutest little nook halfway up the steps that I thought could be a fun place to read a book or be with your steady, but maybe I just went on a day when there wasn’t much traffic. The people who lived in the area were nice. The route up the hill also had Jasmine flowers and other cool houses. The house was closed but was still very beautiful to look at from the outside. I read online though that the Los Angeles Conservancy requires the house be open to the public for a total of 12 days a year so be on the lookout for that.”
