“I haven’t really read a book like this one. It is a novel (although the writer is a driver so it’s based on personal experience)about a train driver and their experience through training and driving trains. A difficult job where the workers rights are frequently left behind. At times this book felt despondent and eerie but other times felt filled with hope and a deep feeling of community and being there for one another.”
