“One of my all time favorite things to do in the Berkshires is find a spot along the Green River to unfold a blanket, unpack a picnic lunch (usually from Guido's or Rubiner's Cheese Shop), set up my reading chair, strap on my river sandals, and take a dip in a swimming hole. 10/10 recommend. PS: If you're coming to the Berkshires, not all rivers are safe to swim in -- you want to for sure avoid the Housatonic (which is a shame because it is glorious).”
