“This book is the recount of the many events that shook Afghanistan during the last 50 years, through the eyes of real Afghan people, that worked or visited the Inter Continental Kabul. It is beautifully written and you get the actual testimony of Afghans on the way they had to survive during the tragedies the country lived through. Even if you are not interested in History or Politics, you’ll enjoy the emotional stories and the way Lyse Doucet wrote the book.”
