“an earnest rec - i have had severe (life threatening, yikes) food allergies for my entire life. in my freshman year of college i developed a panic disorder (double yikes) and literally thought i was gonna die whenever i ate food LOL. a major part of my recovery has been this drug which hurts like hell to administer but is actually life changing and so worth it. it is not an allergy shot it’s an immunosuppressant originally used for asthma and approved for food allergies 2 years ago! it reduces the chance of a severe reaction from cross contaminated food (to the point that some people have used it as an avenue to actually eat their food allergies). it has also dramatically improved my seasonal and dander allergies. ask your allergist about this!”
