I am about to dive into his book These Wilds Beyond Our Fences but THIS INTERVIEW RIGHT HERE had me gagged. Paused and paused and paused just to sit with the poetry flowing out of him sentence after sentence. An invitation to curiosity, to thinking and talking and living outside of the boundaries we, often subconsciously, find ourselves confined by.”

The image of liminal space as a wabi sabi crack in reality that can open in any space between anything - as reality proliferates systems and pendulums and sloshes heat around - that these cosmic cracks exist not to be smoothed over with gold but to be explored like a path into another dimension - possibly filled with light. Bayo Akomolafe describes the field beyond right and wrong. The magic space of the threshold. The potential for creolization as an antidote and response to colonialism. Top notch - thanks for the mindblowing rec @Haley James”
