“Northern California wood sculptor J.B. Blunk built his house in Inverness between 1959 and 1962, entirely by hand and using only salvaged materials. His daughter Mariah runs his foundation and has carried forth the Blunk legacy through artist residencies at the house, and contemporary exhibitions at a gallery space in nearby Point Reyes Station.”
