“I'm eternally curious about people, how they live, what makes them tick, AND I'm an interior designer so nothing is more fascinating than seeing what other artists, architects, decorators choose for their own homes. I've loved Monet's paintings since I was a tween and thought it terribly grown up to put a museum print of waterlilies next to my Speed (1994) poster. My affection hasn't waned and it was truly an experience to see the gardens, ponds, and countryside that inspired some of the most well known paintings created. The house is a whole separate experience and well worth the wait on a crowded summer day. A master class of color. pattern, surface decoration. I challenge you to find a more stunning use of delft tile.”

“in Giverny, France. Just because I imagine it is beyond gorgeous. I want to wander through the gardens, see the water lilies in real life, & soak up the place that inspired so much of Monet’s work.”
