“Perched above the International Rose Test Garden (glorious in season, esp. when the roses are flourishing in drifts of bloomy color and the air is one heady floral rush) is the tennis court of my dreams: the chain-link fence is smothered in a rainbow of climbing roses. My life goals include playing there on a cool June morning.”
