We chose independence, even though it meant leaving our name behind and having to start fresh from zero with a new RSS feed. So we became Berlant & Novak for a time, while keeping the spirit of Poog in the minds of our listeners, until we finally reached a deal that allowed us to be Poog once again, but independent.
