Going Analog“Easily my kids favorite toy/thing to do. I believe this thing single-handedly drives my kid’s imagination. They hear stories, repeat them back to each other, sing, dance and ALL WITHOUT SCREENS. YOTO. We love you ❤️🤖”

Lily“Or How I Got My Kids Off Screens. A low-tech audio player for kids. Incredibly simple and intuitive, and all the classics of children’s lit are available on cards you stick in the top with a satisfying click. You can also record your own stories and play back. Visuals are so low pixel and boring there is no reward for looking; it’s really an audio player. Genius, life-affirming, wonderful tech for anti-tech parents.”

Sarah Cooney“Truly the best-ever kids' "device"--we have almost no screen time at all now (like two movies/month) and it's lifechanging.”

Lee TP“My daughter LOVES her Yoto mini, and we listen to it all the time! Highly recommend the mini with the case--so it is protected when your kiddo drops it.”

Alice zaWitt“we got them each a yoto mini for their third birthday and they are in constant use. they have to share the cards. disclaimer for the easily overstimulated (like me): they will both play a card at top volume and stand right next to each other. A good chance to practice box breathing in a nearby room.”

Maren Ellingboe King“My two and four year olds love these screen-free audio players. You can buy all kinds of stories and music, plus they have a great free daily podcast for kids. We take them in the car, on trips, and everywhere.”

Cristina Sciarra“I'm sure I'm in good company recommending this. The equivalent of audiobooks and podcasts for kids. My son could fully operate it at 4. (Get the protector case thingy--your kid will probably drop it a lot.) (I ended up getting a card case too, which helps keep them from getting lost/is good when we travel.) (The cards come in multiple languages, which is great for multilingual families. You can also record your own content.)”
