“riverside, once THE orange-growing capital of our great nation, is home to the first-ever washington navel orange tree planted in the united states. so if you are among all of the sane people on this earth who enjoy orange juice, say “thank you, riverside!” and take a trip out to the inland empire to see where it all began. there’s a very chic wine bar down the street, too, but that’s for another rec ;) fair warning, in order to protect it from a citrus tree disease, it’s enclosed in a tent. but still very superlative!”
